Staff Auditor

About the Job

At JWC Search, we’re partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking Credit Union in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area to find a motivated Staff Internal Auditor to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of internal audits across the organization, gaining exposure to different business functions and helping ensure strong risk management and internal controls. You’ll work closely with experienced auditors and leaders who are committed to your development and success.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career audit professional looking to build a strong foundation in internal audit within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting audits of financial statements, internal controls, and bank operations.
• Identifying risks and opportunities for operational improvements.
• Preparing audit reports and recommendations.
• Collaborating with teams across departments to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of prior audit experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
