Provide advice on all regulatory matters related to financial markets, including WpHG, WpIG, MiFID 2, MiFIR, and the Transparency Directive.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as distribution and cooperation agreements with various Leonteq entities.
Advise on EU data protection regulations, such as GDPR, in collaboration with the Group Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to offer legal support on structured products.
Keep abreast of legal developments and regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry and the Leonteq Group.
Assist the business in navigating complex regulatory environments and offer strategic legal guidance.
Engage and communicate with regulatory authorities (e.g., BaFin) and external advisors.
Experience
Qualification to practice law in Germany.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience, preferably in the financial services or capital markets sector, either in-house or at a specialized law firm.
Strong expertise in the regulatory aspects of financial markets, with a focus on structured products, and a solid understanding of data protection issues.
Willingness to take on diverse tasks and contribute to the development of new business initiatives.
Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
