About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced P&C Pricing Actuary to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam, Paris, or Brussels. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining pricing models for property and casualty (P&C) insurance products, working closely with underwriting, risk, and data analytics teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading insurance/reinsurance company and drive data-driven pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing models for various P&C insurance products.
• Analyze market trends, claims data, and risk factors to optimize pricing strategies.
• Work closely with underwriters to assess risks and ensure competitive yet profitable pricing.
• Conduct portfolio analysis to monitor profitability and suggest pricing adjustments.
• Collaborate with data scientists to leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques in pricing models.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments in the EU insurance market.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in P&C actuarial pricing (insurance or reinsurance).
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and pricing techniques.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Excel).
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in the EU insurance market.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
• Nearly or fully qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, DAV, IA, or equivalent) preferred.
