Our client are a leading European Fintech headquartered in Switzerland, who are looking for a Director to lead their Securities Finance team, driving the strategic and operational growth of our securities financing capabilities. This You will be responsible for managing counterparty relationships, and optimizing liquidity and financing strategies. Collaborate closely with Treasury, Trading, and Risk Control to balance regulatory compliance with profitability. Be part of a dynamic organization that values passion, dedication, and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Securities Finance function.
- Oversee securities lending and borrowing operations, ensuring optimal financing and liquidity structures.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Automate processes and enhance the Securities Finance infrastructure to improve efficiency.
- Build and expand counterparty relationships to unlock funding opportunities and negotiate cost-effective financing solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering exceptional service.
Experience Required
- Minimum 8 years of experience in banking or securities, including 5+ years in a senior managerial role.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of securities lending, repo markets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency with trading platforms, risk management tools, and collateral management systems.
- Proven leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with a risk management and compliance mindset.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is an advantage.
